"Into the Light" won BEST OF SHOW in the 9th Annual FMP Exhibition (Ann Kullberg's Online Colored Pencil Magazine).

"Into the Light" was juried into the CPSA 16th Annual International Exhibition. This is one of 125 works chosen by juror Jeffrey Moose to be part of the prestigious Seattle show.

"Appassionata in F Minor" won third place in the San Clemente Art Gallery Summer Judged Show, Master Category. In the Master Category all previous winners of their medium compete against each other.

"Into the Light" won first place in the Saddleback Art League 9th Annual All-Media Juried Fine Art Exhibition, Dry and Mixed Media category. The exhibition is held at the Mission Viejo Library until May 30.

"Daffodil" won first place in the Spring Exhibition of the San Diego District Chapter, Gallery 21, Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park.

"Into the Light" and "Appassionata in F Minor" both received an Honorable Mention in the Los Angeles CPSA Chapter "Pencil Paintings" exhibition. The exhibition will run until April 18th in the Cypress Community Gallery.

My Heated Drawing Board technique has been officially accepted by the Colored Pencil Society of America for the International Exhibitions.

Ester's latest artwork, "Into the Light", together with "Preludio" and "Appassionata in F Minor", is on display at the 15th Anniversary Exhibition of the San Diego District Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America. The exhibition will run from October 30th to November 24th. Awards will be presented at the artists' reception on November 10th at 2:30 pm.
