Flying High From Happiness
My artwork "Above and Below" (colored pencil and oil pastel on the Icarus Drawing Board) has been awarded the Expy Best of Show and Prismacolor Award in "Explore This! 6", the Colored Pencil Society of America's online exhibition. The juror, Dr. Barbara Grazul Hubbard, has selected the work of 55 artists for this annual prestigious exhibition which will run until January 31, 2011.

"Popping Out" receives an Honorable Mention in the San Clemente Art Gallery Winter Judged Show, Master Category. In the Master Category all previous winners in their medium compete against each other.
"Above and Below" receives First Place in the San Clemente Art Gallery Fall Judged Show, Other Media Category.
"Across My Universe" and "Daisy in E Flat" received each an Honorable Mention in the San Clemente Art Gallery Summer Judged Exhibit.
"Popping Out" receives an Honorable Mention in the juried exhibit "The Red Space...In Between" of the San Diego Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society.
"Into the Light" and "The Fire Within" have been selected as finalists in the 25th Annual Art Competition of The Artist's Magazine, experimental category.
"Into the Light" receives First Place in the San Clemente Art Gallery Winter Judged Show, Other Media category.
"Into the Light" received the "Award for Excellence" at the 16th Annual International CPSA Exhibition in Seattle, WA.
"Into the Light" wins BEST OF SHOW in the 9th Annual FMP Exhibition (Ann Kullberg's Online Colored Pencil Magazine).
